Normally, our weekly Game Night is a lot more exciting.
And fun.
And less stressful.
But Candy-Land …. rather, the NEW Candy-Land with it’s overly colorful,
overly confusing board proved to be too much for our little ones.
And too much for the Daddy who was trying to teach them the game.
“STAY ON THE PATH!”
“WAIT YOUR TURN!”
THAT’S NOT YOUR MAN!”
Maybe the next time we play it, there will be more smiles.
Hopefully.
p.s. Anyone wanna trade their vintage Candy Land for our new set? Even Mommy … who ended up winning this game, by the way … had trouble distinguishing the path with this new layout. I much prefer the simplicity of the old path to this new, hyper one!

I didn’t even know there was a new Candy-Land. My son is getting too old for it, but we loved playing it. That’s a shame about the new one, though.
