It’s nearly the end of the school-year and I have been in “It’s-The-End-Of-The-Year-And-I-Don’t-Care” mode for quite some time now.
That shirt isn’t ironed? Oh, well, wear it any way, My Dear.
Your water-bottle didn’t get washed last night? Take it anyway. Maybe it will build some immunity in you.
You don’t have any clean matching socks? Guess what … it’s officially Crazy Family Sock Day!!! Now, go get dressed.
I only kinda-sorta-maybe remember to sign the Little Lady’s weekly reports (and the signature that I give is definitely no longer legible), and more than once Barney Kneeknuckles has gone to school with a dried-on milk mustache.
When it comes to lunches, I rarely find myself digging into my decorative bento stuff … no, it’s just about getting things in the box and moving on. Pictures of said lunches??? I’m using my camera-phone and that’s about it. Getting out the Nikon and the tripod and worrying about staging? Ugh. No. Not anymore.
Seriously… I. Am. Done. with school.
But, to prove the Kidlets have been eating, I’ve decided to share some of the lunches I’ve made the past couple of weeks. All gluten-free and some also grain-free.
(The Little Lady has shown that she can tolerate rice so I’ve been using gluten-free crackers/pretzels from time to time. Woo hoo!)
