Searching for gift ideas appropriate for my Kidlets and nephews has been FUN! Last year, my sister made all of the gifts she gave to the children in our family and those gifts (some of which I’ve shared below) are STILL being used and played with a year later.
With the abundance of ideas I found, it was easy to decide what to make my children and nephews for Christmas.
For my Mr. Boy and my youngest nephew, I am making these adorable Car Caddies (and providing the Hot Wheels for them).
For the Little Lady, in addition to making her a new blanket and pillow set for her baby doll crib (which I haven’t found a tutorial, so I’ll be “winging” it), I’ve decided to make a Church “Quiet Bag.”
Um . . . a quiet bag, Rachel?
Yes — a simple bag, like this one, filled with activities to keep the Little Lady occupied and quiet during Church.
(I’m making a variation of this bag, using a pre-made tote I purchased)
I’ll be filling the quiet bags with some of the items listed in the rest of this edition of my Handmade Christmas Gift Guide: art supplies, learning/educational toys, etc.
Because I found so many amazing ideas, I’m breaking up the Kids Gift edition into two parts. The second edition will be published Thursday . . . perfect reading for your post-turkey afternoon.
Have fun browsing!
