Back To The Land Of The Living.

throwing a fit

I have felt like this pretty much all week …. only, I wasn’t in a pretty park and my curls weren’t carefully coiffed.

The flu does nasty, nasty things to you, folks.

But, I’m sort of up and running again.  Well, not so much running and not so much “up” (as I type these words from my bed!).  But I’m at least upright.  That’s a start, right?

Hopefully, soon, I’ll be back in the kitchen, back to meal planning, and back to being the Mama in Charge.

As for the Kidlets, they, of course, were spoiled at Christmas by their Grandparents and spent their holiday week taking turns being sick and getting in to trouble.

Case in point? Mr. Boy celebrated the day after Christmas by getting cactus needles in the roof of his mouth.

WHO DOES THAT???????

Only one of my kids, that’s who.

(sigh)

I hope that all of you had the chance to make memories (just not as painful) with your children and loved one this holiday season.  Traditions, little hugs, and laughter are such a huge part of my reasons for all the silly stuff I do with my Kidlets — I can’t imagine a world without their smiles.
