Living in Houston, it’s common to complain about the humidity . . . the mosquitoes (I swear they’re really aliens) . . . and the never-ending traffic.
But there’s one definite perk living this far South.
Days of 80 degree afternoons. Sunshine. Flip flops and short sleeve shirts.
And trees in flower and bud . . . while the rest of you are still wearing coats.
Nope, you can’t knock flip-flop weather.
(insert contented sigh here)
