Sunday — during a brief respite from frigid temperatures — the kidlets and I enjoyed the warm, sunny day with something to remind us of Springtime: bubbles.
What is it about these airy, iridescent globes that takes a child from glum observer (who was a bit sickly, I might add) to a child thrilled with each popping sensation on his nose, his hair, his cheeks . . .
Not only are these sprightly things simply “good, clean fun,” bubbles (according to the Little Lady) are good eats.
I’ll take her word for it.
