Nutella . . . Sweet Nutella

Oh, be still my heart.
That’s right — it’s a button.  A blog button.  For Nutella.
What’s Nutella, you ask?
Oh, just the BEST, most WONDERFUL, DELECTABLE, SCRUMPTIOUS, FANTASTIC stuff God ever allowed man to create.

Seriously.
So, what’s up with that blog button?
Last summer, one BRILLIANT blogger decided to challenge her readers to create recipes using the sweet, creamy chocolaty-hazelnutty goodness that is Nutella.  Yeah — whole, complete recipes.
For Nutella.
Normally, my Nutella adventures involve the jar and a spoon.  If’ I’m feeling a real culinary spirit moving though me, I make some toast.  Mmmmmmmmm.
But, browsing through the list of recipes on Bell’alimento’s blog left my mouth watering and jonesing for more than one recipe.
Hello?
Nutella Ravioli?
Mini Nutella Cheesecakes?
But, wait . . . it gets better.
I clicked on the recipe for Nutella/Banana/Chipotle Paleta, which led me to the ShowFood Chef and her cornucopia of Nutella recipes . . . including one for Nutella Pets de Souers (which, incidentally means Nutella Nun Farts.  I kid you not).

From there, I discovered . . . . . . . .

(drum roll please)

That’s right, my friends.  An entire day devoted to Nutella.

(drool!)

February 5th.  Next WEEK!

(eeeeeeek!)

The recipes.  OH, THE RECIPES! There must be a couple hundred recipes on the World Nutella Day site.  Sweet AND savory recipes.  That’s right.  Savory.  As in recipes like Chicken Enchiladas with Nutella Mole Poblano.

And there will be MORE on February 9th: “Round Up Day.”  The day when Nutells recipes from ’round the world will be posted.

And so, again, I say “Be Still My Heart.”
