Have you heard about Groupon?
You haven’t? Seriously? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
(ok, ok — I *just* learned about Groupon myself . . . ten minutes ago.)
What is Groupon?
Each day, Groupon features an unbeatable deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won’t find anywhere else. We call it “collective buying power!”
Seriously – check it OUT! At the top of their page, you can look at the recent deals for your town; apparently, within the past few weeks, I MISSED the chance to have a $130 Mani-Pedi, from a gorgeous Houston spa, for only 40 bucks.
GAH! I missed THAT?
The deals vary by city; recently, for Chicago, members of Groupon could have purchased discounted helicopter tours, cooking classes, or Wrigley Field tickets. If you live in around Kansas City, there were deals for organic veggies (delivered to your home), professional photographer sessions, and even a great deal for one-night at a hotel (um . . . I’m thinking that would have been a nice “Mommy Va-cay!”).
So, what are you waiting for? Go check Groupon out!
(Oh, yeah — in the effort of “full disclosure:” No, I was not hired or contacted by Groupon. A friend sent me their link. I clicked it and (after spending a few minutes browsing) then woke up my snoring Hubby to show him the great deals. Thought some of you could find similar specials!!!)
