March was busy. Busy. Busy. And, full of pinkeye (thank you, Mr. Boy, for that one). With just a few days left, I realized it was time to share some (believe me — these are just some of the pics from my Instagram stream) of the craziness I shared on Instagram over this past month.
(‘Cause I know you — ahem, MOM — really want to see more pictures of the Kidlets)

I tried sneaking out of the house to drink my morning coffee in peace … apparently that was a SURE SIGN I wanted company. Moms can never escape.

Meanwhile, the Boys held an emergency meeting of the “He-Man Woman Haters Club”. That day’s topic: How to Scare Girls.

They settled on this for their scare tactic.

Baby Barney can’t stay off the train table … which is why I had The Husband glue and nail all of the buildings and track down. One less thing to clean up!

Speaking of “Cleaning,” this month my closet went from a state of chaos ….

To a peaceful, organized refuge. I may start locking myself in here when I need a break.

It’s kind of sad how many pictures I take of my morning coffee … I must really love it.

Yeah … I have no idea why he did this. I guess the answer is “Because The Basket Was Empty.”

Inside the Gaylord Texan where Blissdom was held … it was just a little bit pretty.

A souvenir I got for myself from Blissdom. It’s a reminder I need….

Road trips are boring. Just saying. (Despite the smile, I hate driving)

This is what happened after I came home from the conference …. apparently Mommy was missed.

Preschool Class Parties … they always make my house messy.

The Little Lady teaching her Brothers about Easter using Resurrection Eggs (she made these at school). I’m afraid it became less of a chance to share the story and more of an opportunity to boss the boys. Big Sisters!!!!!
I’ve realized something about spending all my time on Instagram: it has made me a lazy photographer. My Nikon pretty much only comes out for food photos these days … which is sad. Even though using my phone camera is easy, the only photos I have from this past month are all grainy, compressed and poorer quality than what I could get out of my dslr.
I’m going to challenge myself next month, I think. It’s time to get back to practicing with “the real camera” and preserving crystal-clear images of the little faces I love best.
We’ll see how that goes!
