For some reason, Facebook will soon be elimintating “Tabs.” You know — the tabs on your profile page that take you (or your FB friends, but in my case just me cause I’m obsessive about looking at my own stuff) to your info sections and to your favorite applications.
Boo, Facebook — why are removing Tabs? Tabs are fun, easy, and I like ’em. In fact, why do you KEEP making change after change after change? Just when I get used to one change, you go and make something different. Like this week, when you decided that everyone has perfect vision (ok, so *I* do, but not everyone is like me) and made the font size teensy-weentsy small.
Are we supposed to have a magnifying glass on hand when we wanna be nosy and read our news stream? That’s not very convenient, Facebook.
Humph.
But, I digress.
This morning, after remembering that my Tabs will soon be disappearing, I decided to go through my tabs and see just what I had there.
And I found my flair.
Ah, Flair — the fun silly app that everyone was using back in ’09; you sent flair to your friends, your family, your online acquaintances that just happened to be your Facebook friend.
Your favorite movie, dessert, drink, saying, TV show would all land on your profile as a cute lil’ piece of flair.
I miss getting flair.
Today, as I looked through my flair, I realized the ones I had saved and pinned to my board were all perfect examples of my personality.
The REAL Rachel — the snarky, sarcastic, Irish-accent-loving, chocoholic, Christian Mama.
So. . . .because I will soon be losing my flair board thanks to Facebook and their ever-loving need to change EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME . . . I give you “Rachel in Flair.”
p.s. I’m gonna miss you, Flair.
