Our First Lemonade Stand {free printables}

The Little Lady is a budding entrepreneur.  She is forever wanting to have a Garage Sale or set up a Lemonade Stand.  At least 2-3 times a month, she lays out her plan before us, assuring us that she’s going to do all the work and make all the money.

We have no idea why she wants money so badly but want it she does.

After much cajoling and wheedling, we finally decided that THIS would be the summer for a Lemonade Stand, but in the fashion of all preschool parents, we waited to tell her.  Yes… waited through the first few weeks of June because we didn’t want to hear day in and day out, “Is it time to start on the Lemonade Stand?” or “How many more sleeps, Mommy?”.  I know there are people who can relate to wanting to avoid that particular question.

We decided to wait until it was good and HOT here in Texas … so hot and steamy and fiery that no one (not even sweaty, dirty, noisy little brothers) would be able to resist pulling into our driveway for an icy glass of lemonade …

or a sip of cold iced coffee.

You read that correctly; we are diversifying our lemonade stand to include International Delight Iced Coffee.  Why?  Why Not????  People love coffee, and people love caffeine, and people love iced coffee drinks.  So, to cool off this hot summer (and to fulfill the Little Lady’s dream of filling her piggy bank to the brim), we will have lemonade for the kids … and Iced Caramel Macchiato for Mommy and the rest of the coffee lovers.
