It is insane how much selling your house disrupts your thoughts, your routine, your meals and practically every facet of your family life. Every second of the day you and your home have to be ready for perfect strangers to walk through home, falling in love or judging and scrutinizing.
Last week, just as I was about to place a pan of sweet potatoes in the oven for roasting, I was notified a realtor was going to show our home. In thirty minutes.
Frenzied and frantic, dinner was put on hold as I tidied uo and grabbed the Kidlets (and dog) and left.
TWO HOURS LATER, they finally left. Yeah, they were there forever and no, nothing was stolen. They just took their sweet time, enjoying my home and the smell of the roast in my slow-cooker. Meanwhile, we were at the park and starving.
Now, mealtime has become very simple as I am determined not have the Kidlets miss dinner, even if someone wants to view the use.
But, I am running out of ideas for simple, throw together meals.
I humbly come before everyone and ask for help. Help with simple, little to no-cook meals… Help with staying sane during this time of limbo!
Give me your best, easiest dinner ideas!
