It’s funny how my cravings come in cycles — one week, I need a particular ingredient or flavor in my meals. Other weeks, it’s a particular snack I want and want and want.
This past week, I have been drooling over any comfort food recipe I’ve found online.
(and I haven’t even been LOOKING for comfort food or thinking about it. . . . but those are the dishes that have caught my eye all. week. long.)
Guess Baby Barney (AKA Numero Three) is in need of stress-relieving, comfort food right now — you know, ’cause it’s hard just sitting around, kicking and punching Mommy’s internal organs, and putting on layers of fat.
(Yeah . . . he/she is the one who’s got it baaaaad during this whole pregnancy game. Insert eye roll here.)
What We’re Eating This Week
Monday: Poppy-seed Chicken (recipe for my version coming soon), Egg Noodles, roasted broccoli
Tuesday: Turkey with Basil & Mozzarella Paninis (a variation of this recipe), Salad, baked sweet potato fries
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Asian-Style Shredded Pork Wraps* (this recipe calls for veggie toppings, so I won’t be serving any sides with this)
Thursday: leftovers for Hubby …. kidlets and I will be road-tripping to Grammie’s house!
Friday: (a freezer meal for Hubby) Easy Turkey Meatloaf, Mac-n-Cheese, Green Beans
Saturday/Sunday: Hubby’s Choice. 🙂
