Last Thursday, as the kidlets and I braved a ten hour drive through hail, wind and rain, my sister went into labor with her first baby.
A baby who decided she needed to arrive three and a half weeks early.
(a little diva already)
She’s teeny-tiny. A mere 6 pounds, 3 ounces at birth . . . but, following in the genetic path laid out by her Mommy and Aunties, she’s gonna be a tall one. 20 and a half inches long.
And, like her Mommy and Aunties . . . with a temper and a mind of her own.
And . . . unfortunately, she has our long feet too.
But, she is still one of the most beautiful newborns I have ever seen.
Don’t you agree?
(and, yes, I’ve been taking pictures left and right . . . a mere 144 frames just today. ‘Cause, with a headband like that, how can you NOT take a picture?)
