Aren’t they sweet?
Brother and sister and cousin.
For two weeks, they’ve fought over toys, books, headbands (don’t ask), and Gramie’s attention.
For two weeks, we’ve heard “He did THIS” and “She did THAT.”
For two weeks, it’s been utter chaos — two three year olds and a one year old competing for top dog honors.
But, yesterday, for three minutes, they joined forces . . . to take a nap together.
In the kitchen floor.
(‘Cause, that location obviously makes sense)
Dragging blankets and pillows, the trio set up their bed and then cuddled together in harmony.
Like I said — for three minutes.
It all ended when someone jostled someone else . . . and then someone elbowed someone else . . . and then someone screamed “MINE” to someone else.
And, we were back to our status quo.
Sigh . . . and I’m getting ready to have three at MY house.
(Oy, I’m tired.)
