When our Kidlets moved out of the potty-training phase, I assumed I was done with accidents and changing out wet bed sheets.
But I didn’t account for genetics . . . MY genes that were passed down to Mr. Boy. Bedwetting issues that plagued both me and one of my little sisters when we were kids were inherited by my son.
Thanks to the GoodNitets Bed Mats, one of Parade Magazine’s 2012 Products of the Year, we are feeling less frustration these days when Mr. Boy wakes in the morning. Yes, occasional accidents are occurring (an issue stemming from his deep sleep cycles that keep his body from realizing he needs to go to the bathroom), but his sheets are staying dry and my washing machine is getting a break.
Curious to see how they go on? Mr. Boy and I made a short video for you (don’t worry — I edited out the “little boy humor” that naturally popped up thanks to the “bathroom topic” at hand).
(yeah … my husband wasn’t the best camera man for this video. I promise I do have a top to my head!)
Over the next several weeks, I’m going to be sharing more about the GoodNites Bed Mats, including how they help — in the long run — with Mr. Boy’s occasional night-time bed wetting problem.
As a parent, have you dealt with Bed-Wetting (aka Nocturnal Enuresis)? Any tips for this mom?
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of GoodNites. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
